Watching free movies with Popcorn time

Watching free movies with Popcorn time is quite amazing for several reasons. But i have to admit from a designer perspective, it has a quite amazing UI (user interface). It’s quite simple and very intuitive. All make sense.

Popcorn is my best software to watch movies and series. And boy, do i love movies! Especially when i don’t have to west my time during the searching process for finding the film that i want to watch. I think Popcorn beside a great solution to enjoy films is also a time saver.

What is Popcorn:

Popcorn is a piece of software based on searching torrents files around the web for movies and series and streaming them right away to you. Basically is a media player at it core. And of course, it has subtitle in many languages.

How it’s work:

In order to watch a movie or series, the processes is pretty straightforward.

• select the movie
• and press watch now

Watching movies with popcorn time is as simple as that.

Of course, there are other paraments you could choose. Such as:

• in which media you want to see the movie (butter, vlc). Butter, funny and clever word they came up with, means to watch the movie inside the popcorn time software. Vlc mean you decide to see the movie in the Vlc media player.

Vlc it’s amazing piece of media software for many reasons. Some of them. It’s open source, has many great features, it could play almost any kind of file formats, it could be installed at many operating systems (pc, Mac, Linux, etc.), and the best of course it’s free. More about Vlc here.

• in what resolution you want to see it. The more commons are 720p (1280×720) and 1080p (1920×1080).

Note: the higher resolution you choose to see your movie the longer it could take to load it. So, if you don’t have fast internet access choose lower resolution instead. On the other hand, if you have patience and you want to see the film as clear as you can despite your low internet access choose the highest given resolution and give it some time to load the film.
